Something has happened to the nodes in cabinets X1000 and X1001. We have lodged a case with HPE.

Update

Internal testing has passed. A number of additional services are being brought up. We hope to close out maintenance early this morning.

Verifying

HPE have handed Setonix back to Pawsey.

Staff have begun startup operations. We hope to have it available for internal testing by 9 AM tomorrow morning.

HPE have completed the upgrade to the interim version of HPCM, and have commenced the upgrade to the final version of HPCM.

Scheduled

HPE will be upgrading the management plane for Setonix which requires a multiple day outage.

HPE will commence by backing up internal services starting Monday, August 3rd at 5 PM.

HPE will then perform the upgrade over Tuesday and Wednesday, handing back Setonix to Pawsey sometime on Thursday, August 6th.

Pawsey plans to return Setonix to service by 5PM, Thursday, August 6th (or sooner).

Please note the scientific software stack will be unchanged and default Cray Programming Environment will remain the same.
