Maintenance will be carried out on Pawsey systems on Tuesday the 3rd March to apply required patches and updates to improve the systems stability, security, and performance. This maintenance window will also be used to undertake other tasks which require down-time to achieve.
Planned work for this window includes:
• Setonix will have the latest bug and security fixes applied from SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP6.
• The SLURM controller for Setonix will be upgraded to SLURM 24.11.7.
• The NetApp which provides /home for Setonix and ASKAP Ingest will have a firmware update applied.
• The removal of the 2023.08 software stack on Setonix has been postponed to April maintenance.
• Acacia management of logging and DNS will be improved.
• Banksia will have a ScoutAM upgrade performed.
• Banksia tape drives will have their firmware updated.
• Banksia tape libraries will have their firmware updated.
• Data Portal and Mediaflux platform will be migrated to new hardware.
• Patching of core Pawsey services will be undertaken.
