Scheduled Maintenance Report for Pawsey Supercomputing Research Centre
Completed
Maintenance has been completed. Garrawarla has passed its testing and has been upgraded to SLURM 22.05.10 along with the ASKAP Ingest Nodes.

A big thank you to the platforms team for all your hard work, especially those who stayed late to get the final pieces of the puzzle in place. Apologies for the late start, you are all superstars!

Update
Banksia has been upgraded and the data portal is operational. Setonix is currently having final testing completed. Firewall changes are still ongoing.

Maintenance will be carried out on Pawsey systems on Tuesday the 7th of November to apply required patches and updates to improve the systems stability, security, and performance. This maintenance window will also be used to undertake other tasks which require down-time to achieve.

Planned work for this window includes:
* Enable rules on Pawsey Firewall to improve security
* Patching of core Pawsey services
* Banksia - Upgrade ScoutFS
* Banksia - Upgrade ScoutAM
* Slurm Database Upgrade
* Slurm Controller update for ASKAP Ingest & Garrawarla
* ASKAP Ingest Cluster Slurm Upgrade
* Garrawarla Slurm Upgrade
* UPS battery replacement for /astro
* Mount Setonix /scratch on Garrawarla
* Replacement of NFS server for ASKAP Ingest & Garrawarla
* HPE will be running a GPU HPL Benchmark
