Maintenance will be carried out on Pawsey systems on Tuesday the 7th April to apply required patches and updates to improve the systems stability, security, and performance. This maintenance window will also be used to undertake other tasks which require down-time to achieve.
Planned work for this window includes:
• Update the firmware of Arista management switches
• Setonix will have the latest bug and security fixes applied from SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP6.
• The SLURM client and daemon for Setonix will be upgraded to SLURM 24.11.7.
• The removal of the 2023.08 software stack on Setonix.
• Banksia will have the latest bug and security fixes from Rocky Linux.
• Banksia will have fibre channel cabling connected to storage array fixed.
• ASKAP Ingest nodes will have BIOS and iLO updates.
• Patching of visualisation services will be undertaken.
• Patching of core Pawsey services will be undertaken.
